In the box

The two things the app can’t do on its own.

A green screen and a Bluetooth camera-shutter remote, sold separately from the app on the website. Each kit comes with a licence code for the app.

  • Green screenThe backdrop the app keys out. Light it evenly and guests can stand anywhere in front of it, 1.5 to 3 metres from the device.
  • Bluetooth camera-shutter remotePairs in Android’s Bluetooth settings. One press starts the countdown and takes the photo, so guests never touch the screen.
  • A licence codeFor the plan your kit comes with, in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

The licence code

One code, typed in once.

Each code works on up to 3 devices. Reinstalling the app or clearing its data counts as a new device. If you run out, ZeroCapture support can free one.

    Get your code

    It’s printed on a card in the box and emailed with your order: 16 characters, like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

  2. 02

    Enter it in the app

    Open Admin > Plan & help in the app and type the code. A typo is caught as you type. Redeeming needs the internet once.

  3. 03

    Your plan unlocks

    The app shows what you’ve unlocked. White label time starts the first time the code is entered, on any device, not when you buy the kit.

When White label ends

A year of White label keeps Personal for good.

Kit months add up with each other and with a White label subscription in Google Play. Once they make a year, the booth keeps Personal when White label ends. Short of a year, it goes back to Free, unless you already have Personal. Nothing on the device is deleted either way.

About the kit

Questions people ask before they order.

Do I need a kit to use the app?
No. The app has a Free plan, and Personal and White label can be bought inside the app with Google Play. The kit adds the green screen and the remote, with a plan included.
Can I buy a plan on this website without a kit?
No. On its own, a plan is bought inside the app with Google Play. A licence code from this website only comes with a kit.
When does the White label time start?
The first time the code is entered in the app, on any device. Not when you buy the kit, and entering it on another device doesn’t restart or extend it.
Does an unused code expire?
No. The code keeps until you enter it, so the kit can wait for the right event.
How many devices can use a code?
A Google Play purchase covers every device signed in to the buyer's Google account. A kit licence code works on up to 3 devices; reinstalling or clearing the app's data counts as a new device, and support can free one.
What happens when my kit’s White label ends?
When a kit's White label ends: 12 months keeps Personal for good (like paying yearly); 6 months drops to Free unless Personal is owned or earned, but its months count towards the year of White label that keeps Personal, together with a Google Play subscription or other kits (two 6-month kits make a year). A kit code works on up to 3 devices by default; a reinstall or cleared app data uses another, and ZeroCapture support frees them. Entering the code on a new install after its White label has ended restores what it earned.
Does the booth need the internet after that?
No. Once the code is in, the plan works offline. When the device is online, the app checks the code with ZeroCapture about once a day.
What if I return the kit?
A refunded kit’s code is cancelled, and the booth goes back to the plan it would otherwise be on. Nothing on the device is deleted.
