Content packs are themed sets of backdrops, frames, layouts or stickers that you buy once in the app and download to the device. Each pack is one kind only, such as a set of Halloween backdrops or a sheet of wedding stickers.
On every plan
- Packs work on every plan, Free included, and never change your plan.
- No plan includes them, White label included: they're always bought separately.
- Pack items never count towards your plan's limits on backdrops, frames or collections.
- The booth also comes with free Base content of each kind, built in.
Buying in the Store
Open admin > Store and pick the Backdrops, Frames, Layouts or Stickers tab. The Get more … button in each of those admin sections opens the Store on its tab. Sound packs aren't on sale yet, so there's no Sounds tab for now.
Tap a pack's card to see every item in it. Each card has one button:
- Buy, with Google Play's local price, or Free for a free pack.
- Download, if you own it but it isn't on this device.
- Downloading… with Cancel.
- Downloaded, with Remove download beside it.
- Update, when a newer version is out. Updates are free and only add or replace items.
Buying goes through Google Play, behind the admin PIN. A purchase covers every device signed in to your Google account; each device downloads the pack itself. Restore purchases in Plan & help covers packs too. If Play says your payment is waiting, the pack downloads as soon as it's confirmed.
Downloading
- Downloading needs the internet. It resumes after a dropped connection, carries on while the booth runs, and pauses while a photo is being taken.
- A download over 100 MB on mobile data asks first.
- Every file is checked before it's used. A half-downloaded pack never shows in the booth. If it fails three times, the card says Download failed. Try again.
- If the Store can't be reached, it says Can't reach the pack store. Check the device's internet connection. and still lists what it last saw. Downloaded packs keep working offline.
Where packs appear
Once downloaded, a pack is a collection with a Pack badge in Backdrops, Frames, Layouts or Stickers. You can hide, rename and reorder its items, and position pack backdrops, but not delete them one by one. Remove download frees the space; you still own the pack, can download it again any time, and your changes to its items are kept.
Packs in the booth
By default the booth's tray also shows packs that aren't on the device, each with a padlock. A tap shows what's in the pack, with Buy or Download behind the admin PIN, so guests see the content but never a price. Turn this off with Booth defaults > Guests can change > Packs you don't have yet. See What guests can do.
Refunds and licence
Refunds follow Google Play's policy. A refunded pack is removed from your devices and admin tells you. Packs are licensed for use inside ZeroCapture Studio, including at paid events: the photos you take with them are yours, but you may not copy or share the pack's files. The Store links to the full terms.
