Backdrops are the pictures guests stand in front of. Guests see the backdrops that are shown, in the order you set here. The star marks the one the booth resets to.
The built-in backdrops
The booth comes with thirteen in the Base collection: five studio scenes and eight plain Colour studio sweeps. You can rename, hide and reorder them, but not delete them. There is also None, the real camera view with no keying.
Each backdrop
- The switch shows or hides it: Shown to guests or Hidden from guests.
- The star (Make default) makes it the backdrop the booth resets to.
- Move left and Move right change the order.
- Rename, and Delete for images you imported.
- Position zooms and moves it behind guests, and sets its look.
- Its collection button moves it into a collection, or out of one.
Position and look
Position shows the live camera full screen, as guests see it. Pinch to zoom (up to 4×), drag to move, and double-tap to centre it again. Switch to Backdrop only when nobody is in front of the screen. Under the zoom, Blur, Brightness, Contrast and Saturation change the backdrop only, never the guests. Save keeps it, and Reset puts everything back. This works on every plan.
Your own backdrops
Tap Import image and choose a picture, or share one from the Gallery app to Add to ZeroCapture Studio, enter the admin PIN, and choose Add as backdrop. JPEG works best, at 3840 × 2400 pixels. It opens in the positioner: place it and tap Save, or Skip to leave it centred.
Free holds 3 of your own, Personal 20 and White label as many as you like. Built-in and pack backdrops don't count.
Collections
Collections group backdrops and frames by theme, such as Halloween or Wedding. New collection makes one (Personal up to 3, White label unlimited). Tap a collection's chip to see only what's in it. With one selected, Show all and Hide all turn its backdrops on or off, and Import image adds straight into it.
A downloaded pack is a collection with a Pack badge. Its collection has Remove download instead of delete. A pack backdrop may offer Ultra resolution, a sharper file for the saved photos.
