Some things can be changed on the booth itself, without opening admin. They are handy while you set up at the venue, and when you're running the booth yourself.
The quick settings button
The quick settings button sits at the top right in landscape, and beside the shutter in portrait. It shows a tune icon and what's set now, such as the countdown ("3s") and whether the screen flash is on. A tap opens the panel. It holds, each only when Guests can change allows it in Booth defaults:
- Countdown: Off, 3 s, 5 s, or the booth's default.
- Countdown sound: Off, Beeps or a voice.
- Screen flash: on or off.
- Camera: Front or Back.
- Mode: Photo, Boomerang or Video.
- Photo quality, Video quality or Boomerang quality, for the mode in use. This shows only with Output quality turned on (it's off by default).
Changes apply at once. They last until the booth goes back to its defaults, except the quality, which is saved as your setting in Media output. A tap outside the panel, or the button again, closes it.
Camera adjustments
At the bottom of quick settings, always, is Camera adjustments ("Zoom, brightness and focus."). It opens the controls from admin's Camera beside the live preview: zoom, brightness, exposure lock, focus and the output look. Pinch the preview to zoom, double-tap for 1×, and tap to hold focus. Changes are saved as they are in admin.
It opens straight away. To keep guests out of it, turn on Camera adjustments need the PIN under Booth defaults > Locking; it then asks for the admin PIN first.
The green screen button
On the Backdrop tab, Green screen opens the key controls over the live booth: Pick, Show matte, the three sliders and Reset to defaults. Use it to tune the key while you see what guests see. There's no PIN, and changes are saved for every later photo. On White label you can hide it with Green screen in the booth. See Keying the green screen.
Preview layout
On the Layout tab, Preview layout asks for the admin PIN, then opens the selected layout in admin so you can see what it prints and change it. See Layouts.
Hide controls
The faint Hide controls button at the top left slides the controls and tray off the screen, leaving the live picture and the shutter. The small arrow beside the shutter (Show controls) brings them back. The remote works as usual while they're hidden, and they stay hidden until you tap the arrow.
Getting into admin
The faint gear at the top right opens the admin PIN pad. If you turned off Show the admin button, hold the top-right corner of the booth for 3 seconds instead; a thin ring fills while you hold. On Free, a small Upgrade button sits beside the gear and shows the plans. Buying anything always needs the admin PIN.
The faint feedback button just left of the gear (its label is Send feedback) asks for the admin PIN, then opens Help & feedback straight on the report form. Turn it off with Feedback button on the booth in Booth defaults > Locking.
