Booth defaults sets what the booth starts with, what guests can change on the booth screen, and how admin is locked. Guests' changes last until the booth goes back to these defaults.
Starts with
- Camera: Front (the default) or Back.
- Layout, Backdrop and Frame show the current default. Tap Choose in Layouts, Choose in Backdrops or Choose in Frames and set the star there.
- Mode: Photo (the default), Boomerang or Video.
- Countdown: Off to 10 seconds before each photo. The default is 3 seconds.
- Screen flash: the screen turns white as each photo is taken. Off by default.
- Go back to these after: how long the booth waits with nobody using it before it undoes guests' changes. Off to 60 minutes; the default is 5 minutes.
Video and boomerang size, frame rate and length are in Media output. Media output takes you there.
Guests can change
Each switch shows or hides a booth control: Backdrop, Backdrop position and effects, Frame, Layout, Camera, Countdown, Countdown sound, Screen flash, Smile sound, Stickers, Mode, Output quality, Open the gallery, Edit photos in the gallery, Overwrite needs the admin PIN, Send by SMS on the booth, Email on the booth and On-screen shutter button. Most are on by default; Output quality is off.
- Green screen in the booth hides the booth's Green screen button, so people who hire the booth can't change the key. Hiding it needs White label.
- Packs you don't have yet shows packs from the store in the booth with a padlock. Turn it off to show only what's on this device.
- Overwrite needs the admin PIN (on by default): in the gallery's photo editor, Overwrite asks for the PIN before it replaces a photo, so only you can. Save as a copy never asks. Turn it off to let anyone at the booth overwrite.
- Turn off On-screen shutter button if guests should only use the remote.
Consent
With White label, Consent screen shows a card guests agree to before their first photo. Set its Title, Text, Agree button and Decline button. A take-photo press on the remote agrees. See Guests.
Locking
- Keep guests in the booth pins the app to the screen. Android asks to confirm the first time.
- Show the admin button: when off, hold the top-right corner for Hold the corner for seconds (3 by default) to open admin.
- Feedback button on the booth: on by default. Shows a faint feedback button beside the gear that asks for the PIN, then opens Send feedback. Turn it off to hide it. It also hides when the admin button is off.
- Camera adjustments need the PIN asks for the PIN before the booth's camera adjustments open. Off by default.
- Lock admin after: 5 minutes by default, 1 to 60 minutes.
- Wrong PIN tries (5) and Then wait (30 seconds) slow down guessing.
- Change PIN sets a PIN of 4 to 8 digits. The default is 1234.
- Recovery code: Show reveals it and Change recovery code sets a new 8-digit code.
