Sounds sets what the booth plays at each moment, and the sounds it can choose from. Everything follows the device's media volume. Guests never see sound names, except in their own smile sound picker.
Smile sounds
Short, funny sounds to get children (and plenty of adults) smiling for the photo.
- Off (the default): no smile sounds. The countdown and shutter sound are unchanged.
- Before each photo: one random sound that's on plays before every photo. The same sound is never picked twice running.
- Remote only: a sound plays only when a remote button set to Play a smile sound is pressed, without taking a photo. Putting a sound on a remote button needs Personal or above. See Remote.
Time it to the sound (on by default) starts each sound so it ends just before the photo. Turn it off to set Smile sound plays a fixed 0.5 to 3 seconds before instead.
Sound volume (80% by default, 10 to 100%) is for every sound in the list below. The built-in beep and click keep their own level. Try one plays a random sound that's on.
Sound events
- Countdown sound: a sound each second of the countdown. Choose Off, Beeps (the default), Voice 1 or Voice 2, and tap Hear it. A voice says three, two, one as the numbers show.
- "Are you ready?" first (on by default, with a voice): the voice asks before the first countdown.
- Shutter sound (on by default).
Below, each moment is listed with what it plays: Countdown tick, Last tick, Shutter, Smile sound before the photo and Smile sound on the remote. Choose the built-in sound, Any sound that's on, or one sound you pick.
Your sounds
Sounds are grouped by collection. Three are built in: Base (six sounds such as Boing and Quack), Sound effects (thirteen more) and Voices ("Say cheese" in each countdown voice). Each sound has a play button, an on or off switch, rename and Move up or Move down. A selected collection has All on, All off and Play all. Sounds can't be imported.
Tips
- If you see No sound is on, turn one on or set Smile sounds to Off.
- Guests can pick their own smile sound with the music note on the booth. Turn this off in Booth defaults.
- The Store has no Sounds tab for now, so there are no sound packs to buy.
