Sharing

For every plan.

On this page

Sharing lets guests download their photos with a QR code, straight from this device over Wi-Fi. Guests can always use Share in the gallery as well.

Share photos with a QR code

Turn on Share photos with a QR code to give each photo a QR code. It's off by default. Guests' phones must be on the same Wi-Fi as the device, or on its hotspot. Nothing is uploaded, and only booth photos can be reached.

Once it's on, the section shows one of:

  • Ready. Guests' phones need to join the same Wi-Fi as this device. with the address it serves from.
  • Not reachable. Connect this device to Wi-Fi or turn on its hotspot.

Then:

  • Download links last: how long a scanned link keeps working: 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 24 or 48 hours, or 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, up to your plan's limit. The default is 8 hours. Free is fixed at 8 hours, Personal goes up to 14 days and White label up to 30 days. A link only opens while the booth is on and the guest's phone is on its network, so for links that last more than a day, also turn on the next switch.
  • Keep QR links after the app restarts: off by default, so closing the app ends every link. On, links already shown keep working after a restart until they run out.

Turning QR sharing off ends every link at once.

Today's photos

With Personal or White label, Today's photos shows a live wall of today's photos on a second screen on the same Wi-Fi, such as a laptop or a TV's browser. Each photo opens with its own QR code. While it's on, the section shows a QR code and address to open it on the other device. On White label it's in your branding; on Personal it's in ZeroCapture's look, with "Powered by ZeroCapture Studio" at the bottom. See Today's photos and Monitor.

Monitor

With White label, Monitor lets you check the booth from your phone on the same Wi-Fi: photos, battery, storage and the camera. It asks for the admin PIN and changes nothing.

Both need QR sharing on and only work while the app is open.

Email and SMS

When messaging is available, Messages opens the settings for sending guests their photos by email and SMS. See Messages.

Tips

  • Check this section says Ready before guests arrive.
  • If the venue Wi-Fi blocks phones from seeing the device, use the device's hotspot. See QR codes.
