Updates shows which version of ZeroCapture Studio is installed. Google Play installs the app and keeps it up to date, like any other app. Guests never see update messages.
This device
Installed version shows the version and build number. Have it to hand if you contact support.
Latest version
The section says Google Play keeps ZeroCapture Studio up to date. Tap Open in Google Play to see the app's store page, where you can update by hand if an update is waiting.
The app never downloads or installs a new version itself. Updates are included on every plan, and your settings, skins, backdrops, frames, packs and photos are kept when Google Play updates the app.
Tips
- Update between events, not during one. Open the store page the day before and let any update finish while no guests are waiting.
- Google Play normally updates apps on its own over Wi-Fi. If you'd rather it didn't update the booth during a long event, turn off automatic updates for the app on its store page and update by hand afterwards.
- After an update, check the booth with a test photo before guests arrive.
