ZeroCapture Cloud keeps your photos online for 90 days, gives guests QR links that work on any phone, and backs up your backdrops and frames. It's an optional subscription on any plan. The section only appears once Cloud is live in your version of the app. See ZeroCapture Cloud.
Account
Cloud needs a free ZeroCapture account. Tap Sign in and use Google, or an email and password. It doesn't have to be the Google account used for Google Play. Your plan never needs an account.
Once signed in:
- Sign out stops uploads from this device. Nothing in the cloud changes.
- Add a way to sign in links another sign-in method.
- Device name is shown with the photos and events this device uploads.
- Delete account erases everything in the cloud for the account. Files on devices stay. Leave Also cancel my Cloud subscription on to cancel it too.
Subscription
Choose a size, 50 GB, 250 GB or 1 TB, monthly or yearly, at Google Play's prices. The section shows your storage used. Restore purchases checks Google Play again, Manage subscription opens it there, and Change size moves to another size. When storage is full, uploads pause and photos keep saving on the device.
Upload queue and log
Upload queue shows what's waiting and why. Retry now tries again and Clear queue removes what's waiting without deleting anything on the device. Upload log lists what was uploaded, newest first.
Boomerangs and videos
Clips upload only when you choose. Upload clips now sends them after the event, so photos reach the cloud first. A boomerang's GIF goes with it, straight after it; it isn't counted in the queue on its own. Until ZeroCapture Cloud accepts GIFs, boomerangs upload without them and the GIFs follow later.
Your cloud on the web
When it's available, Your cloud on the web has Open, which opens your account on zerocapturestudio.com. Sign in there with the same account to see, share and manage your cloud photos and galleries from any browser. A link you make there for a photo is the one its QR code shows at the booth.
In the cloud
Everything your account has stored, from every device. Choose backdrops, frames, collections and events, then tap Restore to this device.
Uploading
- Upload photos: each new photo joins the queue. On by default.
- Upload boomerangs and videos: off by default.
- Upload on Wi-Fi only: off by default.
- Back up backdrops, frames and collections: on by default.
- Show cloud marks in the guest gallery: off by default.
- QR codes for new events: Offline (Wi-Fi) (the default) or Online.
- Online links last, for new events: 30 days by default.
Tips
- Photos are always saved on the device first.
- If the subscription ends, the cloud is read-only for 30 days, then deleted. Restore what you need first.
